Zanjan is the capital of Zanjan Province in northwestern Iran. It is 298 km north-west of Tehran on the main highway to Tabriz and Turkey and approximately 125 km from the Caspian Sea. Zanjan is known for its beautiful handcrafts such as knives, traditional sandals, called charoogh, and malileh, a handcraft made with silver wires.

Rocks form is very unique in this region. Composition of these forms requires special consideration. Thus, for appropriate composition, it should be noted on this forms. Sometimes you need to check the surrounding rock so good. This issue has a special significance for panoramic photos. Usually, due to the panoramic camera is very wide-angle , it is difficult to choose the appropriate composition. But in my opinion, this picture has good composition for 6x17 format.

This image is part of a series of images from in Zanjan. For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 617 camera and got attached a red filter on the lens, then shoot by 1/2sec at f22 on Kodak Tmax 100, 120 roll film.
