Taleghan is a county in Alborz Province in Iran. The area is famous for sunny summers and cold winters. It is located in the resort area of the Alborz mountain range and 120 kilometers northwest of Tehran. Taleghan city due to being in the middle Alborz Mountains, has a mountain climate and bungalow. For this reason has a seasonal population, and in the summer its population to more than 12 thousand persons.
One of the most spectacular parts of Taleghan, is Taleghan lake. It is exactly on the left of this photo. For this photo I climbed of a subsidiary road to the mountain by my car. Then I found the best viewing angle. Subsidiary road, was situated exactly the right of photo. And I wanted to remove it from Photo. So I forced to remove a part of the poplar trees on the right side. But because of the similarity with the tree on the left, the image is acceptable.
Because light irradiation in the afternoon and the wind blowing, I was forced to use a slow shutter speed. And with respect to the use of a red filter, the situation became worse. Nevertheless I waited reduce wind blowing.
For this photo, I used Nikkor-W 150/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and got attached Hoya red filter on the lens, then shoot by 1/2sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 PLUS 4x5in sheet film.
