Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.

This is a picture of Mount Damavand that I took after three days of climbing. I was planning to climb Mount Damavand with some mountaineering friends. But the weather conditions in August were not suitable. The foggy weather at high altitudes caused problems for us, and we were unable to climb to the peak of Damavand. So we had to stop at an altitude of about 5200m and rest in a tent for the night.

For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Planar 80/f2.8 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/4 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film. I used of a kenko polarizer filter.
