Damavand snow peak in autumn

Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.

This is a picture of Damavand peak taken on an autumn day. A little snowfall on its slope has created a beautiful view of it. Most of the time, there is a little cloud on the top of Damavand peak, but on that day, very clean air made Damavand peak to be seen completely.

For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180/f4 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/8 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film.
