Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.

This image is Damavand peak from the Polour plain area. I tried to show Damavand peak in the background of the photo. But because of the branches of the trees, it is a little difficult to see. But its background has a good composition due to the presence of a stout tree and yellow plants and flowers. I used a wide angle lens. I lowered the height of the camera a little. I focused on the hyperfocal distance. It seems that the branches of the trees in the upper right of the photo are slightly shaken by the wind.

For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Distagon 50/f4 CFi FLE lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/8 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film.
