Picture ID: 20538 - Order
Mazandaran Province is one of the most densely populated provinces in Iran and has diverse natural resources, notably large reservoirs of oil and natural gas. The diverse nature of the province features plains, prairies, forests and rainforest stretching from the sandy beaches of the Caspian Sea to the rugged and snowcapped Alborz sierra, including Mount Damavand, one of the highest peaks and volcanos in Asia.
This panoramic image was taken from Lafor Lake. We went to this area on a two-day trip with a number of photographer friends. I mounted the camera on a tripod and focused using ground glass. It was a little foggy in the morning. It was a little foggy in the morning. But it was still suitable for photography.
For this image, I used the Panoral 617 camera. I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 lens on my camera and hold center filter IIIC by hand. The image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/4 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 6x17cm roll film.
