Karaj and natural rocks
Picture ID: 10567 - Order
Karaj is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran. It is situated 20 kilometres west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. The city has effectively become an extension of metropolitan Tehran. The city is surrounded by mountains which give it great landscapes.
One of my interests, shooting from natural rocks. The reason for this is that the rocks are formed by natural erosion in various forms. The combination of light and shadow on the stones gives them a beautiful effect.
For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and then shoot by 1/15sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 4x5in sheet film.
