Shahrestanak is a village in Asara district, Karaj county, Alborz province, Iran. The village, is located 55 km north-east of Karaj, and 90 km of Tehran. The village of 2,190 meters above sea level and the climate is cold in winter and pleasant in summer. Shahrestanak is historic village. Nasereddin Shah Qajar, around 150 years ago, the owner was a special palace inside Shahrestanak. The palace is now known Shahrestanak palace.

Shahrestanak is one of the most famous villages that had beautiful autumn. Nature enthusiasts always choose the fall season to travel to this village. Due to the proximity to Tehran, a one-day trip will be very attractive. So on weekends the village is home to nature enthusiasts. I will never shoot on the weekend. Because I do not like tourist people in my photos.

This view attracted me, due to the light state. Trees are sparkling because of the back light. The afternoon light has completely revived the color of autumn trees. I like this picture because I am very interested in the back light.

For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180/f4 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/15 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 film.
