Zanjan is the capital of Zanjan Province in northwestern Iran. It is 298 km north-west of Tehran on the main highway to Tabriz and Turkey and approximately 125 km from the Caspian Sea. Zanjan is known for its beautiful handcrafts such as knives, traditional sandals, called charoogh, and malileh, a handcraft made with silver wires.
As I mentioned in other pictures of Zanjan, this area is very beautiful. I went to this area many times, but I'm still surprised to see new compositions. I do not know why these rocks give me a strange feeling. Sometimes the choice of framing is very difficult. In some composition, rocks are like members of a family.
For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and got attached a Hoya red filter on the lens, then shoot by 1/8sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 PLUS 4x5in sheet film.
